I want to meet Brendan Fraser because he’s a smart and dreamy actor who’s not afraid to play all kinds of characters. His best movie is probably “Gods and Monsters”, where I discovered that he’s an amazing actor as well as being a cutie patootie.
I met Howard Dean at a NOW conference in Arlington, VA sometime in 2003. And again at Cap City Brewing in DC at a rally. By “met”, I mean “shook hands with”. I’m glad he’s manning the democratic party now, because it really needs some serious reforms.
Glen understands what it’s like to be from Texas, and he makes an excellent old-fashioned as well as many other fine cocktails. Perhaps the one has to do with the other? We have a lot of the same favorite songwriters, including James McMurtry, who also understands the pain of Texanism. I am currently enjoying Glen’s default pic, because I swear to god I was just listening to that album about an hour ago.
